Hi everyone. This is my first post here and I dont know if this is the right forum. I mean, I know this is the bathroom forum but I dont know if I should post this in pics?

I have an early 40's home and I have remodeled the bath using "vattern" cabinets, Ikea faucet, and Ikea accessories. The bath is small and I fell in love with the depth of the "system" as I was using a kohler pedestal prior to what you see in the pics. I love the storage and it is quite literally the only thing that can give you the function of a full modern bath in the space of an old homes size. I love it!

I am also doing a kitchen remodel with numerar countertops finished in waterlox satin. I may post pics later, I am not quite dont yet...

I like how you tiled the top - I think I might use that set up (idea) for the bathroom in the cabin I am building.

Thanks for the positive comments. The bath was a total gut and redo. The original cabinets were built right into the studs of the house!

I dont know why I thought up the idea for the tile tops(probably because I like to change so much), but I have a couple tops for different "feels". I took 3/8" ply cut to size so I could make a round over on the edges and then just set them on top of the cabinets and remove/change whenever my mood desired. I am going to have a couple of 1.5" granite slab cut for the top next. It is nice cause I didnt "set" them so I let the weight hold it down or a little double sided tape.

Oh, wow! I love it! Very nice bathroom remodel. Very nice use of the Vattern cabinets, and is that an Ann sink? I don't know my IKEA bathroom stuff well.

Hi,

Does anyone know if the kitchen dampers will work on the vattern cabinet doors? Or are there other dampers that will work??

We are using the Nygrund doors.
